MY PERFUME COLLECTION

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede

Jo Malone has stolen my heart.  Peony & Blush Suede by Jo Malone is my favorite perfume at the moment.  It also comes in a candle, which I need to order asap.

the essence of charm.  peonies in voluptuous bloom, exquisitely fragile.  flirtatious with the juicy bite of red apple &
the opulence of jasmine,
rose & gillyflower. mingling with the sensuality of soft, blush suede.  luxurious & seductive.

Scent is one of our most powerful senses, and it’s so unique and personal.  I must admit that I don’t usually find the description of a perfume to be very helpful.  Ten people could sample the same perfume and all ten would describe it in completely different words.  I always recommend picking out a new perfume in person.  I’ll sample a new scent occasionally, but I always find myself going back to a few favorites.

As the final touch to my beauty routine, I apply my perfume to the inside of my left wrist, and either on the base of my throat or behind my ear.  Have you ever wondered why there are certain places we apply perfume?  These are our pulse points.  The warmth of your blood pumping activates the perfume and makes the scent last longer throughout the day.

On another note, I love the level of detail and attention that’s now given to the branding of a perfume bottle.  Le Labo – case and point, and next on my list to try.
